During the session, Dr. Beirne presented key highlights from the September 2026 edition of the Asian Development Outlook (ADO), titled “Navigating Prolonged Energy Shocks and El Niño.” The discussion offered valuable insights into regional economic prospects, emerging risks, and policy responses to energy price volatility and climate-related shocks across Asia and the Pacific.
